From the beginning of her career, Carole Alfarah (Damascus, 1981) has put her camera at the service of people and silenced groups, offering them voice and recognition through the image. When the conflict broke out in Syria, she kept the focus of interest in civil society, consciously fleeing iconography, archetypes and the canonical objectivity of the war report. The exhibition presents a selection of images taken between 2012 and 2015, in successive trips to the country that the author was forced to leave. Free admission.
