The Espai Subirachs hosts the permanent exhibition of the works that reflect the different stages of the career of Josep M. Subirachs, author of the sculptures of the Passion facade of the temple of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, although his work went much further. First, you can see the close connection of Subirachs with Poblenou, as well as some of the works of his earliest stage, while still under the influence of Novecentism and Expressionism. The exhibition continues to review how his change went from figuration to abstraction to end up seeing how he purged his ancient signs and, with a very metaphorical language, created sculptures with an architectural vocation. The Espai Subirachs is open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Free entrance.
