The VII Cycle of concerts Musicing the Frederic Marès Museum begins, designed from the inspiration produced by some of the different rooms of the Frederic Marès Museum. It is a unique cycle since each of the selected spaces becomes a chamber room where repertoires from the Catalan musical heritage are combined with others. Program:


February 20:

Recital by Laura Martínez Boj (soprano) and Bernardo Rambeaud (romantic guitar) with a program made up of works by Ferran Sor, Ferdinando Paër, Federico Moretti and Pauline Viardot, among others.


March 20:

Recital by the pianoforte player Roger Illa who, with a table piano, will offer a program entitled Table Music in Barcelona in the 19th Century, with works by Leopold Kozeluch, Daniel Steibelt, Ferran Sor, W.A. Mozart, FJ. Haydn and Carles Baguer.


April 24:

Spiritual concert with compositions by Telemann, Marais and Couperin by Miguel Bonal (viola da gamba), Nicole Wolfsohn (record flute) and Darío Tamayo (harpsichord).


May 29:

Audition of the Students of the Lied Master of the ESMUC to play works by Eduard Toldrà, Henry Duparc and Frederic Mompou.


June 19:

Links. Homage to Tete Montoliu, with the Elisabet Raspall World Trio, made up of Elisabet Raspall herself, piano and composition; Tom Warburton, double bass; Jarrod Cagwin, percussion and Marcelí Bayer, saxophones. In this way, Tete Montoliu will be honored, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of his death, and this unique cycle, which is now in its 7th edition, will close.


The acquisition of tickets (€ 3) can be done online and in the same ticket offices of the Museum. The purchase of the ticket includes a visit to the Museum.
