Preferred films for the Official Section are adaptations of literary works, productions based on or related to historical events and film biopics about well-known figures. The festival will open with \u201cViatge al pa\u00eds dels blancs\u201d and close with \u201cAsesinato en la 3a planta\u201d. This year, filmmaker Jos\u00e9 Luis Garci will receive the Honorary Award.
