This year marks the 35th anniversary of the death of Primo Levi, a writer of Jewish origin born in Turin, Italy, in 1919, a Holocaust survivor and author of memoirs, poems, novels and stories. It was also 75 years ago that his work “If This Is a Man” was published, a witness to life and survival in German concentration camps and considered one of the most important texts of the 20th century. For all these reasons, El Born Cultural and Memorial Centre, with the collaboration of the Istituto Italiano di Cultura de Barcelona and the Centro Internazionale di Studi Primo Levi, dedicates a series of homage to the anti-fascist resistance fighter.
