The discussion will address topics such as the movement of electrons, which generates electricity and magnetism, and why these invisible forces allow us to detect our position, measure the orientation of our mobile phones, and navigate maps with precision. We will also explore how extremely weak fields are measured, a technological challenge that connects everyday engineering with cutting-edge research. From these concepts, we will leap into quantum physics to discover what superposition is and why it affects neutrinos, almost ghostly particles that constantly pass through the Earth and us without our noticing. The discussion will be led by Sara Rodríguez Cabo, PhD in Physics from the University of Oviedo, specializing in particle physics, cosmology, and artificial intelligence algorithms applied to these fields. It will be moderated by Luis Zurano Conches, science journalist and Head of Communication and Science Outreach at the Communication Department of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). Admission: €6. The price of the conference includes admission to the museum and exhibitions.
