Wow. Museum animals: science, technology and art

Since ancient times, the desire to know and disseminate the richness of life on the planet has moved naturalists to try to represent the fauna of each place through description and drawing. Little by little and thanks to the evolution of taxidermy, the large collections of natural history museums have been built. These pieces are a great resource for education, dissemination, conservation and research. New materials and technical advances add to the artistic component necessary to achieve the expressiveness and movement of good naturalizations. The exhibition, in collaboration with the Granada Science Park, presents the great work of the taxidermist and sculptor Antonio Pérez, an international leader in this discipline. Six naturalized scenes of Mediterranean and African animals are presented recreating natural behaviors. Free entry until January 8.
