A programme of activities anticipates the gala of the 40th edition of the Goya Awards, which will take place on 28 February in Barcelona. Among the initiatives, a great concert by the Barcelona Municipal Band at L’Auditori, and the live recording of the sound fiction of the film Remando al viento, directed by Gonzalo Suárez and Honour Goya 2026, at the Palau de la Música stand out. There will also be a large-format urban exhibition, located in Glòries, which explores the talent linked to Catalonia throughout the history of the Goya Awards. In addition, seven monumental sculptures of Goya will be placed in different parts of the city and an official photocall and a Goya award will be installed in the City Hall so that citizens can take pictures with them. During these days, there will also be screenings of the nominated films and meetings with their artistic teams, which will take place in emblematic spaces such as the Born.
