Sons de Ciutat brings live and small-scale music to the streets, squares, shopping centres and markets in the 10 districts of Barcelona. The programme includes around 200 concerts in around 80 different locations and the participation of 60 musical groups from the city. New this year are the rumba concerts, which are brought to us by the Platform for the Defence of Catalan Rumba, which is joining the programme as a new musical agent. This new musical style is added to the incorporation of opera and lied in the previous edition, which will continue to be heard in the streets thanks to the Fundació Victòria dels Àngels and the Fundació Òpera Catalunya.
