Norwegian scientist Edvard Moser, a graduate in Psychology and PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Oslo, co-scientific director of the Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience, and professor of Neuroscience at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, will use the philosophical debates between empiricism and innate ideas as a starting point to discuss the latest neuronal research on space and time in neuroscience. Moser was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology/Medicine in 2014 for the discovery of grid cells. The discussion will be moderated by Mara Diersen, a graduate in Medicine and PhD in Neurobiology from the University of Cantabria. She leads the Cellular and Systems Neurobiology group of the Systems Biology Program at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Barcelona. Admission: €6 (includes museum admission).
