The event dedicated to exploring and promoting knowledge of the brain celebrates its 8th edition under the premise “The fear that moves us”. Promoted by the Fundació Pasqual Maragall and co-organized by Minimal Films, it will screen feature films and short films about fear and its overcoming and there will be a program of activities with workshops, round tables and conferences. In this edition, Nicolas Philibert will also receive the Brain Film Fest 2025 Special Award in recognition of an innovative documentary filmography committed to the complexity of the human condition, and specifically his recent trilogy on psychiatric centres in Paris.
