Exhibition to mark the thousandth anniversary of the monastery’s foundation, whose objectives, which are reflected in its museum areas, are:
– to explain the essence of Montserrat as a monastery and sanctuary, broadly unchanged over a thousand years
– to transport visitors to places that are not normally accessible within Montserrat, providing tools for understanding them, through virtual reality
– to explain the different ways of seeing and experiencing Montserrat, through the expression of personal witnesses of the links that society has established and maintains
