Almost 160 years after Lewis Carroll wrote Alice in Wonderland, this story and its protagonist have become part of the collective imagination of multiple generations. The exhibition offers different answers to why a Victorian character is so significant, the culture that fostered its writing and how the themes and ideas raised in it continue to be relevant. The exhibition incorporates a playful dimension and a space for reflection, facilitating a dialogue between Alice’s world and our own.
